Why do we turn to the tarot?
For me, the images and the archetypes that can be explored through tarot feel like endless possibilities. I heard someone once describe reading tarot as an exploration of your psyche through the study of images. To me, that feels absolutely grounded because haven’t we as a society always used some form of visual representation for our thoughts, whether that be through images like cave drawings or words, when we started developing language.

For me, tarot and oracle cards offer a rich visual language, that unlocks parts of our psyche wishing to be uncovered, or come out of hiding. And there’s magic there as well. What appears in a spread is a reflection of your own inner world, brought to life in front of your eyes.
